Ok how about this for a success story!!!??
I started posting on Active Rain two weeks ago today (mean 14 days ago to those calculating).? I read and read various blog posts and learned that the most effective way to post and get on page one of Google is to be local focused - like an area in the city etc.? I chose mine and developed a game plan and decided i would do all the subdivisions, schools, medical facilities in the area I wanted my blog to be focused on.?? And guess what gang.
It worked!! Not in months but in DAYS!!!? I spoke to Bob Stewart briefly on the phone and we were both on the same page as far as localism focus.
I posted information on each of the subdivisions and just waited for the RAIN.?? I was just checking Google this morning and decided to see where i rank for the areas i posted about - want to know where?
Page 1 of Google - 3rd one down, 4th one down, 2nd one down, 5th one down.? I didnt check the rest because I was so excited that I had to share it with my wife - she was like "So you do know what you are doing!"?? Pretty impressive to say the least.? Now I know 105 posts in 2 weeks is a little psycho but i am a Marine and I never do anything average!!!
So what is the motto of this story?
- Become a Rainmaker so your posts become PUBLIC!!!
- Create the Outside Blog and have it focus on one area - Specialize in something
- Post 'relevant' content on Active Rain (choose public, Hyper localism, Active Rain Channels, Category etc)
- Post the Blog with text and pictures with links going back to your website
- Post again -
- Repeat Step 3-6 (and you should make an impact in no time
Trust me - It works.? Just look at three of these screenshots (21 hours after posting!)
And Next -22 hours!!!
The area i posted in (or about) is a HOT area that people want to live in.? And now I am on page one of most or near most of the subdivisions in 48 hours (or less).?? I haven't even begun to do my videos and photos, drive throughs etc yet.? And I am not paying some SEO person to do this for me.? I did it myself (and I will be showing you how in upcoming post with screen shots and videos - I promise to make it easy for anyone!)?? (trust me i know how - I teach in my market center which is one of the largest in the country).
Am I passionate about this?? You dang right I am.? If I can do it so can you.? I promise you by the end of next week I will have 6-10 posts on how to do it for yourselves.
