Octomom Nadya Suleman Files Bankruptcy

Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as Octomom, has filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy and that isn?t even the most shocking news coming out today about Suleman. Let me just say the mother of 14 is going to eat her words.   On Monday Nadya filed papers for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in federal court. This comes hot on the heels of the news that the Octomom had recently began receiving food stamps from the federal government. She released this statement regarding her current financial situation and her decisions to filed bankruptcy. “I have had to make some very difficult decisions this year and filing Chapter 7 was one of them. But I have to do what is best for my children and I need a fresh start.” The court papers state that Suleman no longer has the means to pay her bills, which basically means she can?t pay them. They further state that she has less than $500,000 in assets and owes almost $1 million to creditors, including back rent on her house.
